Deposit checks fast with your mobile device. State Bank & Trust Co. now offers mobile deposit for FREE. It's not only convenient, but it's simple! Take a picture of your check and deposit it without even stopping by the bank or an ATM.
How does it work?
- Sign-up for State Bank & Trust Internet Banking
- Download the SBT Mobile App from the App Store1 or Google Play Store2
- Sign into the SBT Mobile App, tap the "Deposit Checks" icon
- Follow the on-screen instructions!
Helpful Tips
- You must write "For Mobile Deposit Only" and sign/endorse your check before you take a picture.
- Add the date of deposit on the back of the check for easy reference and retention. It is recommended that you retain the check for 60 days following your deposit.
- Make sure the check is well lit with a solid background.
- Include the entire check in the photo.
- All deposits are held for review. Your deposit will be confirmed as having been accepted or rejected via email no later than by the end of the next business day
