Agent and Financial Manager
Everyone's financial circumstances and investment goals differ. We are prepared to provide the individual attention and act with care, prudence, and diligence when managing your assets to meet the objectives you have established.
Executor
Wills should be reviewed periodically and choosing an executor should be done with forethought and care. State Bank & Trust Co. is qualified to serve as your executor, co-executor, or alternate executor. We stand ready to accept and carry out our fiduciary responsibility on a continuing basis.
We will professionally and objectively work on behalf of your family and beneficiaries to carry out your wishes. No husband or wife, son or daughter, or other relative needs to be asked to bear the anxiety and time burden associated with settling an estate. Our staff is experienced and qualified to serve objectively and competently.
Trustee
From Living Trusts, Testamentary Trusts, Charitable Trusts and everything in between, State Bank & Trust Co. is qualified to serve when the need arises. Conservator
When family is not available or able, State Bank & Trust Co. can act as conservator to assist minors, elderly, and those individuals suffering mental or physical handicaps warranting a conservator. If named legal conservator, we can manage assets of the ward and submit reports to the court. The bank can offer the security of knowing that assets are managed professionally and in the ward's best interest.
Escrow Agent
Whenever the need arises to choose an impartial third party to hold legal documents pending completion of a sale, act as a qualified intermediary in a 1031 exchange, or to hold moneys pending the performance of a contract, consider naming State Bank & Trust Co. as escrow agent.
Burial Savings Account
State Bank & Trust Co. offers FDIC insured Burial Accounts to set aside funds for the exclusive purpose of funeral expenses. This is an irrevocable account of which State Bank & Trust Co. is the escrow agent.
- Medicaid allows a certain amount aside for this purpose.
